Random Pictures!

This was taken at disneyland. I have no idea where Gwen got the idea to throw out the peace sign.

Jason and Logan playing some bball.

Hanging out at the pool at Grandpa Gary's house.

Sea World!

My mother in law Susanne and I took the kids to Sea World. It has been years since I have been there and it is so different. Logan is a total Elmo groupie and now they have a whole sesame street area with rides for little kids. Gwen loved the dolphins and says she wants to be a marine biologist when she grows up. It was a great day!

Happy Birthday Gwen!

Okay I know Gwen's birthday was back in April but I am trying to do catch up! We had so much fun for Gwens birthday. We were in Arizona for Easter at my Dad's house and my step mom was so nice to put together a bowling party for Gwen. It was the first time she had ever been bowling and she loved it! My Gwenny loves every second of life and definitely lives it to the fullest. I can't believe she is 4.

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 6 year wedding anniversary! It is crazy how fast time flies by. Even crazier thinking that in the last 6 years we have moved 12 times. I am so lucky to have such a great husband and father to our children. I truly believe I found my one and only perfect match when I married Jason.

VACATION!

Jason and I went on a 8 day cruise to the Mexican riviera. Jason's parents were amazing and watched the kids for us so we could go relax! It was the first time I was away from the kids so I was a little freaked out leaving them but overall I managed okay. We had so much fun! We went on a zip line tour in Mazatlan that was definitely my favorite part! For Jason his favorite part was probably the food! Jason and I went on our honeymoon to cabo so it was fun to walk around there and see all of the changes! It was so nice to be able to spend some time with my amazing hubby!

Christmas in AZ

We decided to go to Arizona for Christmas this year to spend time with my Dad and step mom. Hoping that we would get some of that great AZ sunshine since we have been in Oregon for 5 months. Unfortunately the rain followed us, but that didn't stop us from having a great time! The kids were as usual spoiled rotten for Xmas. We couldn't even see the tile floor. While we were in Arizona we also got to spend time with my roomie from college Brittany! It was so fun seeing her and the fam, especially her pregnant belly. I miss you Brittany!!!! After AZ we went back to CA to spend time with Jason's family, and surprise, we decided to stay here until June.

For 2 months now Gwen has been wanting to write a letter to Santa. This morning we sat down with her and she told us word for word what she wanted to write in her letter. It is hilarious. I didn't even know she knew that target was a store. Well we love you guys and hope you enjoy.

Dear Santa,
I love you Santa oh yes I do, I love you Santa and I’ll be true, when you are not near me, I’m blue, oh Santa I love you. Merry Christmas! I love you Santa. I love the presents you are going to bring me. I have been good and sometimes kinda naughty but I want to be nice all of the time. For Christmas I would like some dress up, a talking dollhouse, Barbie stuff, a fancy purse, Princess bath stuff from Target, fancy fancy (she means fancy Nancy) stuff, Barbie movies: a Christmas carol and 12 dancing princesses.
I’ll leave you 1 cookie and milk. Oh and I also love board games and books! Yeah!
I like your reindeer’s that live outside Nana and Papas house, they always make sure I am being good.*
See you soon,
Gwenny Jayden Fife

*On the way home from swim lessons the other night there were some deer in the front yard. Gwen said that Santa sent them to check up on her and make sure she was being nice and not naughty. I love the way her mind works

Playing with Dad

We hiked up to the very top of Multnomah Falls in Portland. Gwen hiked up to the top all by herself. It is a little over a mile up and a mile down. She is such a stud!
Gwen and Logan love nothing more than wrestling with their dad. Instead of taking turns having horsey time, they decided to both pile on at the same time. Logan also loves getting into boxes regardless how small they are.

Happy Halloween!

We had so much fun this halloween! Gwen was Wonder Woman and Logan was Captain America. Logan took to trick or treating like a champ. He would run from door to door saying "please" and then would say "bye bye", but only if they gave him candy. He wouldn't let anyone touch his basket. Gwen really thought she was wonder woman, it was so cute. She would run into a room and then "ching ching" her wrist cuffs together as she would make the sound effects. She said by putting her wrist cuffs together she was getting rid of evil. So funny!

Searching for the perfect pumpkin.

On a rainy Oregon day we decided it would be a great idea to go to the pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun, but with an inch of mud caked to each of our shoes and mud all over our pants we will think harder next time. Gwen took about 20 minutes just to find her perfect pumpkin. Logan was all boy and loving playing in the mud and rain. We ended up being there for 2 hours and freezing our butts off, but we had so much fun.

Playing with the kids on a gorgeous Oregon day

Okay okay okay! So I am really going to try and keep our blog up to date! We are still in Oregon until december and then we are heading to California. It looks as though Jason will be playing arena football in Utah in the winter-spring and we are so excited. After the arena season Jason will hopefully be starting dental school, he has a couple of interviews.
Gwen and Logan are doing great! Gwen started preschool this year and absolutely loves it. The other day she came home and started saying the pledge of allegiance. She has the whole thing memorized and is very proud to share it with anyone who wants to listen. Logan is loving life. He has a great sense of humor already and loves to make people laugh. He will dance, giggle, or throw himself on the ground just to make someone smile.
We are having a great time getting to know our kids and their personalities.

Gwens 1st day of Preschool

My sweet little girl started preschool. It was bitter sweet seeing her walk into her class. She was so excited and ready to learn. Our Gwenny has such a love of life and learning that it inspires me to better myself every day. Even though it is only 3 days a week, Logan and I both miss her sweet spirit when she is not around.

Happy 1st Birthday Logan!

I can't believe Logan is 1. He is such a great kid and so full of energy. He is such a flirt! Especially is you have food. Gwen was Logan's party planner so she decided to have it at Chuck E Cheese and have the theme be SpiderMan. We had so much fun!

Our trip to New Orleans & Florida

It was Jason's week off in April so we drove over to New Orleans, and then to the beach in Destin, FL. We had so much Fun! Gwen loves the beach, so much she fell asleep when Ryan and Jason buried her. Logan, not so much. He was climbing up my leg when I tried to put his feet in the ocean. He liked the sand as long as he could eat it.

Happy 3rd Birthday Gwen!

Gwen wanted a princess Giselle party at Chuck E Cheese. So while we were on vacation in New Orleans, we had a party with her old friends. It was so much fun seeing everyone again. Gwen and Tyler acted like they had never been apart. Instantly rolling around and chasing eachother. She has grown up so fast. She is so happy and loves life. She made up her first joke the other day. She put my purse around her neck and said,"Hey mom look, I am a person (purse-on)". She was cracking up forever! She has such a personality. She loves her little brother and can't wait until he is big enough to wrestle. At least once a week she asks me if he is bigger now. Singing and dancing are defintely her favorite things to do.
